My mind has just shattered from this small revelation. I don’t know why I didn’t see it before. The classrooms at the Skool are all virtually the same, except for slightly different hues. The world map on the opposite wall facing the windows. The same three posters in the same distance away from the map/window. The same amount of chairs in the same arrangement.
I somehow had this small assumption that small things like chairs, tables and posters might differ, but no. They’re the same.
Good God, they’re the same…
We had to perform some dark rituals to revive the comic. It’s… it’s fine. Yeah, it’ll be fine.

Ayla is still in the process of completing commissions, as I’ve stated on a deviantART upload. I have put my foot down and, once she is done with these, I have made it emphatically clear that we will be making two pages minimum a week. When we began, we were ambitious enough to try and make three a week, and eventually that just seemed as too much work and we tried to keep it at two. Things went fine until Ayla was struck with costochondritis and, due to her poor sight, was unable to bend towards the screen to see what she was doing. Since then, she’s taken greater precautions to avoid this (such as using pillows and taking rest periods), but her enthusiasm towards our collaborative comic greatly lessened. The project that we’ve undertaken is going to take years to finish, and this stunted progress is going to extend that period to well over a decade. I won’t have it.
So, while I’ve been waiting, now that speech bubbles are ahead by several pages and my slight depression is making it hard to write further along for chapter 3, I’ve been doodling. I’ve taken the time to collect them in a collage (as I am prone to do), and am using it to deliver the message of faint hope that the comic will go somewhere soon, whenever “soon” may be.
After receiving 80+ questions via formspring and many via email, i have amassed what i believe to be a definitive check list that should clear up most-all confusion on what the binding of isaac remake (Binding of isaac: Rebirth) is/will be.

GOSHDANG WONDERFUL NEWS FOR US! Love this game and expansions. If you haven’t played this yet, please do! It’s a mere 5 bucks and, once you’ve seasoned yourself with the controls and gameplay well enough, there’s a tremendous expansion worth an extra 2 bucks. Only on Steam (for now)!
Of course, you can also wait for Rebirth (the console remake), but that one’s gonna have new stuff in it as well, so why wait?!
Also, soundtrack is amazing, so go buy that thing! Heck, the soundtrack for the expansion stuff is freakin’ free to download, and all of it free to listen, at the composer’s website (dBsoundworks@bandcamp)!
For some reason, despite that the stock art doesn’t seem to show it, the grey of Zim’s PAK actually changes to an ever so slightly darker shade when he is in disguise.
